European homes must be heated with efficient, zero-emission systems powered by renewable energy.
Solutions such as heat pumps, district heating, solar thermal and solar PV are already delivering clean heat to many homes. They now need to become affordable, attractive and accessible for all households. Consumers have a right to clean heat and need support from policymakers – and the right policy framework – in this transition.

We work at EU level, with national and local support from our broad network of member associations and partners to achieve our goal.
Increase awareness among policymakers
of how clean heating benefits the society, the economy and the environment and can improve Europe’s energy security.
Inform EU policymakers
about pathways to solutions and opportunities to increase the uptake of clean heating and make it the most affordable, attractive, and accessible option for consumers.
Motivate policymakers
to promote policies that support and accelerate the deployment of clean heating, removing barriers to the widespread adoption of clean heat and better support households in the energy transition.
